First Tech Challenge

The First Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics competition for people in grades 7 – 12. The participating teams come from schools, neighborhoods, and other communities.

The teams design, build, and program robots to perform yearly competition tasks and ally with peers on other teams during competitions.

Community Outreach

During our school’s Week of Welcome, our robotics team organized and ran a robotics activity to show people what we do and to encourage the underclassmen to join the team for next year’s season. This event allowed the students to experiment with driving, programming and competing with robots.

Response from an anonymous student about our WOW week outreach activity: “IT WAS AMAZING! I didn’t expect it to be as great as it was. I honestly had an amazing time during this activity and hope to do it again.”
